Challenge

Legal requests often arrive through fragmented channels and missing context, which creates avoidable back-and-forth and slows teams down before real work even starts.

Approach

We designed a structured intake model around clear request capture, configurable questionnaires, and a workflow-first path for routing and tracking work. After the hackathon, I led the effort to take the idea forward into a real product surface.

Outcome

The concept turned into a real Legal Intake surface inside SpotDraft, giving teams a more standardized and scalable way to collect and manage inbound legal requests.

What I learned

Some of the best internal product ideas come from recognizing persistent operational pain and reducing the activation energy required for teams to do the right thing.
